Artist Statement
I have always been drawn to the creative and artistic world. Growing up, I was always fascinated by my family's Cuban-Spanish culture and journey to America, and this has played a significant role in shaping my artistic style. From a young age, I took classes in various art forms throughout my K-12 education in Las Vegas, Nevada. After graduating high school I decided to move to Miami, Florida. While never attended university, my passion for painting and creating continues to grow each day. Art plays a significant role in my life, allowing me to escape reality for hours on end. I love to create an abstract and loose feel to my paintings while incorporating texture and vibrant colors. I enjoy challenging myself and find inspiration from my life experiences, music, movies, and even self-portraits.
I strongly believe that life is all about pushing yourself to be the best version of you when you wake up everyday and that with faith and patience, anything is possible. Short-term goals of mine are to practice my skills every day and continue to build my creative mindset. I strive to inspire others to think more deeply and appreciate the beauty in life through my artwork and interactions. In the long term, I aspire to become a master in my craft, make an impact in the artist community, and see my art displayed in public. I want to leave a lasting impression on those who meet me and encounter my artwork. I aspire to be more than just an artist - I want to be someone who positively impacts the world and my community through my art and interaction. I hope my art and videos can inspire and bring joy to those who experience it.
